2024 Winner: Cook Children’s Health Care System

Cook’s Children’s nominated their charity Save a Smile. A program that helps children in their community get dental help and education when they don’t have access to it. Race for Every Child 5K Run/Walk - nominated by Children's National Hospital

The Race for Every Child 5K Run/Walk is an annual event that unites over 5,000 participants to champion children’s health and support crucial community programs. Through its efforts, the charity ensures that every sick or injured child in Oklahoma has access to life-saving care, with all funds remaining within the state to enhance pediatric training and services.

CHOC Walk - nominated by Children’s Hospital of Orange County

The CHOC Walk in the Park is an annual event that unites the community to raise over $2 million for vital programs and research to improve children's health. As participants walk together through Disneyland, they support a great cause and strengthen our connections with colleagues and families who have benefited from CHOC's exceptional care.

Access Period - nominated by Children’s Nebraska

Access Period is dedicated to eradicating period poverty in Nebraska. Through partnerships and community support, it ensures that everyone has access to essential menstrual products. It believes everyone deserves the chance to pursue their dreams without the burden of lack, fostering a future where dignity and opportunity are available to all.

Project Ujima - nominated by Children’s Wisconsin

Project Ujima is dedicated to creating safe, violence-free communities by empowering survivors and enhancing their quality of life through support systems and skill-building. By addressing the social determinants of health and fostering community strengths, this unique program helps individuals heal physically, mentally, and emotionally from the trauma of violence.
